A biodiversity program with suppliers
Committed to protecting biodiversity, CEPOVETT has implemented targeted actions near some of its industrial sites. In Madagascar in particular, where one of its production plants is located, the company has launched a mangrove planting program to protect local flora and fauna, which are essential for species reproduction. In France, at its dyeing site in Chessy-les-Mines, CEPOVETT is conducting an experiment to assess the state of the local ecosystem, calling on an ecologist specializing in local fauna whose mission is to map, count, and list the species present in the area. The company's employees will be involved in this exercise to raise awareness of biodiversity issues. This initiative enables CEPOVETT to align its environmental commitments with those of its customers, such as SNCF. The aim is to roll out this experiment to other industrial sites. The fight to protect and preserve life begins in France before spreading internationally. By measuring and reducing the negative impacts of its activities on biodiversity, CEPOVETT aspires to become a regenerative company, in particular by protecting endangered species through its REGEN Clothing by CepovettTM initiative.
