CEPOVETT accelerates its recycling program
12 March 2026In 2025, CEPOVETT trialed a 360-degree, four-season biodiversity assessment with one of its strategic suppliers, with the aim of establishing an inventory of living organisms. The biodiversity assessment is an in-depth evaluation designed to identify, analyze, and understand the diversity of species, habitats, and ecosystems present at a given site. It includes flora and fauna inventories, an ecological quality analysis, habitat mapping, and a study of the impacts of artificialization and ecological permeability. This assessment makes it possible to detect heritage species, protected species, and threats such as invasive alien species and pollution. It serves as a basis for proposing concrete actions to preserve, restore, and enhance local biodiversity. With 70% of living species having disappeared from the planet in the last 50 years, protecting life is a major challenge for the survival of humanity. Companies have a responsibility to take ownership of this issue and protect life, in particular by establishing protected areas for endangered species.
